Why Use Type to Window?
- Save Time: Eliminate the need to manually re-type or even copy-paste long AI responses.
- Bypass Restrictions: Some applications disable the “Paste” command; Type to Window bypasses this by simulating physical key presses.
- Maintain Accuracy: Avoid transcription errors when moving complex data or code between windows.
How it Works
- Get an Answer: Receive a response from the Hepi Assistant or Quiz Answer.
- Focus Your Target: Click into the text field where you want the answer to appear (e.g., a Word document, a search bar, or an email).
- Trigger the Feature: Use the global shortcut or Hepi interface button. Hepi will then “type” the latest response into that field.
Usage Safety
Because Hepi simulates physical typing, you should avoid moving your mouse or clicking other windows until the typing session is complete. You can press Escape at any time to cancel an active typing session.
