Hepi Hepi
Control the Hepi Window

Everyday Controls

Use window controls when you want to:

  • Show or hide Hepi quickly
  • Move the window to a better spot
  • Turn on click-through so you can work behind Hepi
  • Recover the window when it feels hidden or hard to reach
  • Open the Help Panel when you need a shortcut reminder

A Simple Everyday Interaction

  1. Place Hepi where it helps without covering the main app.
  2. Toggle visibility when you want a cleaner screen.
  3. Use click-through when you need Hepi to stay visible but not block interaction.
  4. Bring the window back before assuming it disappeared.

What Click-Through Is Good For

Click-through is useful when Hepi should remain on screen while your mouse clicks go to the app behind it.

That is helpful during reading, watching, reviewing, or any task where Hepi is mainly acting like a reference layer.

What Good Window Management Looks Like

A strong setup usually means:

  • The window is easy to show and hide
  • Your most important shortcut is easy to remember
  • Click-through is available when you need it
  • You know how to recover the window if it feels lost
Managing the Window
The control bar at the top of the Hepi window allows you to quickly toggle visibility, enable click-through mode, or access the Help Panel (F1) for a shortcut reminder.

Common Mistakes

  • Assuming the window is broken when it is only hidden
  • Leaving click-through on and forgetting why clicks are passing through
  • Customizing recovery shortcuts and then not testing them
  • Keeping the overlay in a position that blocks the exact area you need to use
