Points and Meeting Sessions
How Hepi points work, what Meeting Assistant costs, and how to manage your balance.
Hepi uses a single points balance across the app. Meeting Assistant draws from this same balance at 10 points per minute of active audio processing.
Tip
Every session includes a **free first 30 seconds** so you can confirm your audio setup and connection before any points are consumed.
How meeting billing works
- Per-minute consumption — 10 points are deducted for each full minute of active audio processing.
- Minimum charge — Sessions over 30 seconds are billed from the first full minute onward.
- Ongoing deduction — After the first minute, each completed minute deducts another 10 points.
- Zero balance — If your balance hits zero, the active session stops automatically.
When points are used
Points apply to live, real-time audio tasks:
- Lectures and classes — Transcribing long educational sessions.
- Interviews — Getting live hints and feedback during professional or practice interviews.
- Meetings — Generating structured summaries and insights from active calls.
Manage your balance
Before a session: Check your balance in the app or your account profile before starting any high-stakes session.
During setup: Use the free 30-second window as a mic check to confirm your audio mode is correct.
After a session: Stop Meeting Assistant as soon as your call or lecture ends to avoid consuming points unnecessarily.
Top up: Purchase additional points through the billing portal when your balance is low.
